Dr. Macri, a retired U.S. Navy Captain, Medical Corps with over 35 years of active military service; served as the Special Assistant to the Chief of Naval Operations for Diversity during her last tour of duty; directly advising the CNO on matters of diversity and inclusion. She is a native of Hawaii and she’s a Board Certified OB/GYN and Board Certified Gynecologic Oncology. Dr. Macri specializes in program development – STEM pipeline; low or no cost programs for high school students of diverse backgrounds; college counseling for these students; developed S2M2: Science, Service, Medicine, & Mentoring program to promote science/medicine careers among disadvantaged high school students. She is a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine and Lehigh University. Dr. Macri brings a wealth of expertise to LIFT A VET to help us deal and assist with the medical needs of veterans.
