Equine therapy Puerto Rico     Changing lives with horse power.

What isEquine Therapy?

Equine therapy is a recognized rehabilitation activity throughout the world. It consists of taking advantage of the movements of the horse to stimulate muscles and joints. In addition, contact with the horse brings therapeutic aspects to communicative, cognitive, and personal functions.

Run by Carlos R. Mendez, we love how they give vets peace by the gentle touch and interaction with horses.  The goal is to move operations to Roosevelt Roads , we will be closely working with Equinoterapia Puerto Rico in our Continuum of Care program and as a positive outlet for healing with our PTSD clinic.

WHILL, Inc.

Mission:  Deliver Fun and Innovation to Pedestrian Travel

Through ongoing development and production of Personal EVs, we will challenge today’s conventions and improve the personal mobility experience. As we do, we will redefine the perception of wheelchairs and their limitations through innovative design and advanced technology. Nobody should be limited because they don’t feel comfortable with how they move from point A to point B. We want every individual to be confident, comfortable and independent.

LIFT A VET has partnered with WHILL Inc. to provide WHILL Personal Electric Vehicles (PEVs).  Calling this device a wheelchair is a dis-service.  These PEVs are revolutionary, innovative, and provide all-terrain mobility (rock, grass, sand, gravel, etc.) while allowing the user to enter their house and transition to home mobility with no modifications.  ...a truly revolutionary idea for the well being of veterans who were not able to live as full as they should.
